Here is how account access, financial connections, and privacy controls work—and what you can manage yourself.
Account access
Sign in with your password or the supported Google sign-in flow. Email verification and password recovery help you manage access to your account.
- Enable optional multi-factor authentication in Settings using an authenticator app.
- Keep recovery codes somewhere you can access safely.
- Use a unique password and sign out on shared devices.
Financial connections
Plaid supports bank connections. Stripe processes website subscription checkout. Google services support eligible mileage tools. Availability depends on your plan and configuration.
- Review connected accounts in Bank Feed.
- Check activity before you confirm an import.
- Manage subscriptions through the provider that billed you; app-store purchases follow that store’s billing process.
Privacy
Private business records require authenticated access. Server-side ownership checks and subscription permissions control requests for your records and Pro tools.
- Review exports before you share them.
- Manage optional website measurement through Analytics choices.
- Read the Privacy Policy for the information collected, service providers and retention details.
Account management
Settings includes account controls and the deletion process. Export records you need before requesting deletion. Canceling a subscription and deleting an account are separate actions.
- Use the deletion instructions for the current process and retention details.
- Cancellation stops future billing; refunds follow the terms and the provider that billed you.
- For support, email hello@pocketaccountant.app. Never send your password, MFA codes or full financial records in an initial message.
